The Cement Association of Canada (CAC) represents the Canadian cement industry – eight companies with clinker and cement manufacturing facilities, granulators, grinding facilities and cement terminals. We work closely with our stakeholders to promote their interests. Together, we strive to maintain a sustainable industry and publicize the economic and environmental benefits of building with cement and concrete.

CAC is an organization of cement companies committed to a sustainable industry and to improving and expanding the uses of cement and concrete in Canada. CAC maintains close ties with current and potential members, keeping abreast of their needs and concerns. We build and maintain effective working relationships with concrete allies and other stakeholder organizations. CAC advocates and promotes the competitive interests of members, regarding existing or proposed changes to environmental legislation and regulations as well as climate change and air quality initiatives at all levels of government. With attention to regional concerns and priorities, CAC markets cement and concrete solutions for key uses, including concrete highways and related infrastructure and remediation of contaminated sites using cement-based soil solidification (S/S). CAC advises on technical matters important to the cement and concrete industries, such as codes, standards, specifications and best practices. We support members and users of cement and concrete products by making available a wide range of technical information. CAC provides to its members and paid subscribers economic forecasts, statistics and analysis on the Canadian cement industry, concrete and cement manufacturing and construction activity.
